Opening Day at Milano Unica 28
Satisfaction of visitors and exhibitors
The 28th edition of Milano Unica opened with a number of attending visitors in line with the February 2018 edition.
The Opening Ceremony, dedicated to “Sustainable Innovation” and “Digital Transformation”, was held in the morning. Present on stage were Ercole Botto Poala, President of Milano Unica, and other important guests: Mauro Scalia, Director Sustainable Businesses Euratex; Raffaello Napoleone, General Manager of Pitti Immagine; Masahiko Miyake, President JFW - Japan Fashion Week and Roberto Luongo.
The Area Tendenze received great attention, with a large number of buyers, designers and journalists visiting it along with the Sustainability Project, where approximately 120 companies presented nearly 700 samples of fabrics and accessories.
Milano Unica will continue on Wednesday, February 6 and Thursday, February 7 with its Special Areas, content projects and scheduled event agenda.
