Milano Unica ushers in the Tendenze for Spring/Summer 2026 focusing on the theme of “LAND”. A deliberately multifaceted, rich and transversal concept projects our imagination into how we perceive territory/land, as we seek a balanced and integrated approach to nature, capable of guiding both the individual and society towards a more harmonious and sustainable future.
“LAND” as territory to conquer recalls the idea of exploration and discovery of new frontiers to travel, both in geographical terms and on a personal or professional level, of new economic, social and cultural opportunities. This season is a call for innovation, growth and the achievement of untapped potential and new markets.
“LAND” is a metaphor, here, where the territory of the mind represents an inner journey, the search for self and a cosmic balance: it is connected to meditation, spirituality and personal growth. It is the space where we build a sense of psychological well-being: symbolic place where one can seek harmony, peace and deep understanding.
“LAND” thus incorporates the idea of territory as a physical space and as a perfect place for opportunities and introspection, creating an extremely powerful combination: on the one hand it refers to a physical place full of resources and opportunities while, on the other, an ideal, intellectual place, and therefore to our innermost territory to be cultivated for our well-being.
“LAND” is also closely associated with sustainability, ecology and nature conservation, issues that are increasingly crucial for the future of the Planet. It calls to mind images of unspoilt landscapes, sustainable agriculture and a deeper connection with the territory, leading to a rediscovery of the value of rural life and respect for the environment.
“LAND” ultimately proposes the need to integrate the following different aspects to attain success and well-being: cultivating the physical and natural territory, exploring new opportunities and at the same time nurturing our innermost garden.
With this in mind, Milano Unica, in its research for the Spring/Summer 2026 Tendenze, has selected 3 themes for fabrics, accessories and materials that express notions connected to “LAND” in different but overlapping spheres, while fully embracing Made in Italy and the excellence of Italian manufacturing:
