The earlier date also benefits Milano Unica Shanghai
The 14th edition in China ended positively
The curtain fell on the 14th edition of Milano Unica Shanghai on Sept. 29. The 42 Italian businesses present at the Milano Unica Pavilion presented their A/W 2019-20 collections and the trade show recorded both good visitor traffic and orders placed during the show.
“Also on this occasion, we have bet on innovation, suggesting an earlier date, which enabled us to meet customers still concentrating on the current season,” commented Ercole Botto Poala, President of Milano Unica, regarding the strategic decision made in collaboration with its partner Messe Frakfurt, the organizer of Intertextile.
The Chinese market confirms its wealth of opportunities for high end textiles and accessories, with trade shows like Intertextile operating as qualified and increasingly specialized interlocutors. There is still much to do and there is room for improvement in order to provide a 360° offering in a market that, in addition to the traditional menswear fabrics, is increasingly demanding fabrics and accessories for womenswear and childrenswear.
As usual, Milano Unica Shanghai was supported by the valuable collaboration of the Italian Ministry for Economic Development, ICE Agency, Sistema Moda Italia, the Municipality of Milan and Banca Sella.
The 15 th edition will be held in the framework of Intertextile from March 12 to March 14, 2019.
