THE MATERIALS OF THE FALL/WINTER 2025-26 COLLECTIONS

MU FAMILY

The materials for the Fall-Winter 2025/26 season showcased in the Milano Unica Tendenze Area are in line with the proposed creative theme and also highlight the work done by the exhibitors in developing sustainable materials while experimenting not only with prints, patterns and embroidery, but also with new technology, coating, translucent finishing, surprising material research and new treatments on fabrics and accessories.

 

The particularly refined color chart includes beige, blue, and dark red hues.

 

Exhibitors presented a broad variety of fibers, including classics and also dailywear, eveningwear and leisurewear.

 

Below is a description of the Areas and rooms in which the materials are displayed: 

1_MU FAMILY - HERITAGE

This area features textiles of different weights, materials and fibers, both hanging and in the three large central wardrobes. All the items share a common vintage characteristic, as if the material were worn by time, hand-dyed or overprinted, passed down from generation to generation. 

Lace and embroidery evoke a family atmosphere, with many lightweight textiles and daytime shirting. 

In particular, the 2 racks on the side walls of the central corridor feature:

SHIRTING AND LIGHTWEIGHT FABRICS

  • Cool wool in solid colors or classic macro and micro patterns 
  • Cool wool with geometric weave
  • Wool or cotton flannel and mélange flannel with streaked yarns

This room contains all the classics, mostly woolen, winter and heavier fabrics, plain or with various classic and revisited designs.

This room focuses on evening fabrics, with a metallic look due to colors, inserts, or coatings, along with lightness and bright, elegant blouses.

In particular, the 2 central wardrobes feature:
