THE MATERIALS OF THE SPRING/SUMMER 2026 COLLECTIONS
Milano Unica presents MU LAND
The materials received - selected and on display in the Milano Unica Tendenze area for the Spring/Summer 2026 season - are in line with the proposed themes, with a predominance of natural materials, lightweight fabrics and various finishes and fiber blends.
Similarly to fabrics, accessories are mainly presented in raw materials rich in metallic or recycled plastics/rubber details.
The colors reflect the color chart, also in shaded monochrome tones.
1. LAND OF RURALITY – RURAL
Almost all the fabrics for this theme are made entirely of natural fibers.
Solid colors have a raw look and the fabrics are often left undyed. The traditional fabrics, such as jute, gauze, tweed and slubbed canvas, provide that natural texture, especially in the neutral and warm colors of the color chart.
The printed, patterned jacquards or the tone-on-tone patterned fabrics (checkered and barré) evoke a rustic countryside environment. Lace, macramé and broderie anglaise create a family atmosphere.
