The Special Areas at Milano Unica

Japan Observatory, Korea Observatory and Origin Passion and Beliefs

Three halls dedicated to style and artisanal workmanship: the Japan Observatory, the Korea Observatory and the one showcasing the Made-in-Italy supply chain as an intersection between different competencies of the world of fashion and accessories.

THE ORIENT BETWEEN EXCELLENCES AND CULTURAL DIALOGUE
Milano Unica has always looked at high-end oriental productions with great interest. The July appointment renews the collaboration with two important exhibitions dedicated to Japan and Korea:   JOB, the Japan Observatory (Hall 12) and KOB, the Korea Observatory (Hall  16), where a selection of Japanese and Korean businesses present their top productions and accessories, enriching the offering and expanding the cultural dialogue.

JAPAN OBSERVATORY: JAPANESE INNOVATION AND ARTISANAL WORKMANSHIP

The Japan Observatory is the area organized by the Japan Fashion Week and JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization) and includes 40 mills and Japanese groups characterized by an innovative spirit and great attention to artisanal workmanship that are reflected in the top quality of their collections. The area also comprises a Japan Public Relations Desk, presenting trends and orientations for the fabrics displayed.

KOREA OBSERVATORY: A SELECTION OF THE BEST KOREAN PLAYERS
The Korea Observatory is organized by Kotra (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency) and includes 19 Korean mills selected in collaboration with Milano Unica to offer the highest level of integration between all products showcased in the trade show.

ORIGIN PASSION AND BELIEFS: AN EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO MADE-IN-ITALY PRODUCTION

Last but not least, Hall 8 hosts Origin Passion and Beliefs, the exhibition dedicated to Made-in-Italy productions in the world of fashion and accessories, designed to facilitate contacts between the manufacturers of Italian fabrics and accessories with the decision makers – product office operators, product managers and style office operators – of the top end international fashion and luxury brands. The exhibition includes four theme-based areas: textile, leather, stone and technology; and it is the first platform of integrated offering of high-level Made-in-Italy competencies in the service of the fashion industry.
