Milano Unica - 37th Edition
The 37th edition of Milano Unica, the international event showcasing the excellence of textiles and clothing accessories, dropped the curtains on July 13 with an ever-increasing number of visitors. A total of 4,701 companies visited the show, +16% over the July 2022 edition, including 1,583 foreign companies (+26%) and 3,118 Italian companies (+11%), visiting the 562 exhibitors that presented their Fall-Winter 2024/2025 collections of high-end fabrics and accessories for womenswear, menswear and kidswear. Renewal was the message of this edition, both in the offerings and services. The proposal presented by the exhibitors is consistent in terms of quality, offer and creativity, unequivocally expressing the return to elegance with its strong ethical role.
MU Sostenibilità Creativa F/W 2024-25
The Sostenibilità Creativa F/W 2024-25 area presenting only sustainable samples, reflects the priority needs of companies looking to a future that has less impact on the environment.
MU Sintesi
The MU Sintesi areas offer visitors a chance to see the best textile and accessory offerings from each exhibitor. The panels developed by the individual companies present the most representative and eye-catching products selected to establish long-lasting contacts with visitors.
MU Metaverse
The 37th edition introduces an immersive experience through the emotional rooms of the Metaverse accessible until July 25 from mobile or the Web.
MU Opening Ceremony
In an increasingly competitive scenario with still strong fluctuations, the Opening Ceremony addressed key issues for the textile and accessories sector through the detailed analysis by Claudia D'Arpizio, Senior Partner Fashion and Luxury at Bain & Company on the performance of the premium and luxury market toward the future challenges the sector will face in the medium term.
After the institutional greetings by Roberto Foresti, Deputy General Manager of Fiera Milano and Attilio Fontana, President of the Lombardy Region, and the speeches by Ercole Botto Poala, President of Confindustria Moda, Sergio Tamborini, President of Sistema Moda Italia, Maurizio Forte, Director of the Coordination and Promotion Office for Made in Italy of the Italian Trade Agency ITA and Erika Andreetta, Partner PwC Italia, EMEA Fashion & Luxury Leader, the Italian Minister of Business and Made-in-Italy Production , Adolfo Urso, sent a video message to all industry operators recalling, among other things, that:
"Knowhow is at the core of Made-in-Italy excellence, a distinctive element of our creations and our great competitive advantage."
